Former Laker Andrew Bynum Eyeing NBA Comeback

Andrew Bynum

Former Laker bigman Andrew Bynum has his eyes set on an NBA comeback. Once an important piece to the Lakers championship teams back in 2009 and 2010, the 30-year-old is looking to show that he still has some gas left in the tank.

Bynum's last stint on an NBA team came in the 2013-14 season, splitting his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers.

His best season came in 2011-12 where he averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per contest. After being traded by the Lakers, Bynum struggled to stay healthy as he was plagued by knee injuries. With the season approaching, the seven-footer has hired representation and will try to prove he is ready to come back to the league.

The Lakers currently are short at the center position. Should they consider giving Bynum a shot?
