David Vassegh caught up with Joc Pederson before the game vs. the Cubs to talk about his big day on his birthday and his success to start off the season.

A huge key in baseball is the mental aspect. You gotta be in a mentally good spot to be successful. It is a constant battle everyday to make sure you are in a calm mindset and able to help the team win.
Joc Pederson on his mindset at the plate:
You wanna carry the good and maintain it as much as possible. You don't want to forget about the good but you need to get back and compete all over again and do what allows you to hit that homerun.
